Peanut Butter and Jelly Team

Mission

  • We seek to work as a congregation with other community church partners to provide food for hungry persons in the community.

Two people wearing masks standing behind a large kitchen island filled with bottled water and food items in a kitchen with wooden cabinets and windows.
Two hands exchanging a white bowl in an outdoor setting, with several other bowls and containers visible in the background.

Activity

  • The PB&J team continues to deliver 55 or more sack lunches and bottled water each Sunday to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in downtown Albuquerque.

  • We receive contributions of bottled water, bread, peanut butter, jelly, fruit chews and granola bars from church members which support the program.

  • The Immaculate Conception volunteers receive donated sack lunches from First Congregational and other volunteers and then distribute them to people in need.
