Beatriz Valencia, liaison of the City of Albuquerque’s Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs, will speak to us about how the City administration is implementing the Safer Community Places Ordinance. She will address the work that is being done to implement this ordinance, how it is expected to contribute to the safety of immigrants, and what this might mean for us and our church.
